Pepacton Reservoir
The
Pepacton Reservoir is about twenty miles long and averages about one-half
mile wide and is a 5700 surface acre New York City owned water shed that
provides the East Branch of the Delaware with it's cool releases.
The
Pepacton offers great trout fishing as the large brown trout that live here
quickly grow to an average size of 5 pounds with some up to 15 pounds!
Casting lures and bait from shore ,or trolling from row boats are the most
effective methods for catching these giants.
Small mouth and large mouth bass, perch,rockbass,crappie and bullhead are
also sought after by shore anglers.
Reports to start after ice out.

We
are now able to issue both access permits and parking passes for the DEP
reservoir system. These permits allow fishing & Hunting access with your NYS
fishing and hunting licenses.
Call in advance of your arrival and we can have your permits waiting for you
when your arrive .The permits and this service is FREE !
